Yarn

This is how my yarn started out at the beginning of the week, the pile at the back is to keep, the one on the left is undecided and the right front is to give away.  I'm happy to say that all the give away wool has in fact been given away.  Additionally I pulled some pink acrylic back out of my keeping stash and gave it to my sister in law.  She's far more likely to actually knit something with it.

I was really undecided about this yarn.  Its the twisted sister yarn I was gifted when C was born.  It was a lovely gift, but I'm just not sure about the colours.  I decided I'll knit something generic with it, and if I don't like how it knits up, I'll pass it on to someone else as a kind of knitting pay it forward.

This is a lovely homespun yarn that I have no idea what to do with, but is too nice to give away.

You can't have too much pink wool with three girls

This amazing yarn was from a swap, and given to me by Hannah of Red Riding Hood Yarn's fame, and it is destined for a shrug.

These are some little 4 ply odds and ends that I should have de stashed, but I have plans, probably for hats or maybe booties.

I've also still got my 100purewool 4ply.  That I have no idea what I will do with.

So all in all, a pretty successful destash.  In case you're wondering, the big balls I gave away to the Hospice Shop, and the small scraps went to P's kindy for the kids to use in their crafts.
